University of Queensland – Commercial

As a preferred commercial contractor for the University of Queensland in Gatton, VJAS Building are involved in projects that include maintenance, and renovation to existing works, plus new works.

Projects have included modification to laboratories and autoclaves, and other areas including veterinary and piggery facilities and commercial drying facilities.

This project, required the planning and construction of exterior lighting, stairs, walkway guardrails and roadway speedhumps.

The construction and installation of light poles and stairs, was technically complex, because of the rocky structure into which the construction was required to be installed.
